Krewe of Seville
Welcome to the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s
Krewe of Seville!

The Krewe of Seville was founded in 2004 as a Chamber fundraising Committee and has contributed over $50,000 directly to the Chamber and our community.  The Krewe is a member of the respected “Inter-Krewe Council,” which is collection of the most recognized Krewes in Central Florida. The “IKC” provides communication vehicles and collaboration support to the area Krewes and serves as a Municipal Advisory Board.

The Krewe attire is Pirate and Renaissance costumes and we participate in the four major local parades: The Gasparilla Children’s Parade, Gasparilla Parade of Pirates, The Knights of Sant’ Yago Illuminated Knight Parade and The Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  These parades are free to the public and combined to draw over 2 million cheering spectators in search of beads, coins and great shows.  Other events include visits to retirement communities, children’s Pirate Reading Nights, volunteering at the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk, the Krewe Beach Krawl and the Toys for Tots Krewesgiving.

The Krewe membership fee is very reasonable. It includes participation in all Krewe events and entry into parades on our new float.  “Rosalia’s Revenge” is a two story, 40 ft. Spanish Galleon with a galley, 4 bathrooms and lots of room for the riders.  Throw beads and parade libations are also included!  Krewe membership will sell out first to returning members and then to new members.  Guest spots will either be limited or not available for the major parades.  We ask that you “remember a member" and support our loyal sponsors.
